Insect Rush is a skill-based mini-game that you can play to gain action points, game dollars, or both. It's available after Episode 2. This game is free if you chose to be in the Gardening Club. If you're in the Basketball Club, then it will cost three AP.
How to AccessClick on "My Apartment." At the end of the bed is a gaming console. Click on that to access the Mini Game page. Click on the pink play button. If you're in the Basketball Club, a box will pop-up asking you if you want to continue before taking you to the game's screen. Otherwise, you'll be directed to this screen:
There are two different types of bugs: beetles and ladybugs. Each bug is either red, yellow, or blue. On the left of the screen are bottles of insecticide that can be used to get rid of the beetles and the ladybugs. However, clicking a ladybug makes you lose a life. If you click a bug with a color that doesn't match, a "Wrong Color!" message will appear in red for a couple seconds before disappearing. The object of the game is to advance to the higher levels and get rid of the bugs before they cross the screen completely. Failing to do so will result in a lost life. Once all three hearts have turned gray, the game will end. Which level you finished on determines how many action points or game dollars you receive. The longer you're able to stave off the insects, the higher the level you advance to.
